We are developing and integrating different web technologies into a coherent, user-friendly and hopefully useful database which will contain the most comprehensive collection of information about all butterfly species (Rhopalocera and Hesperiidae) in the Afro-tropical Region.

Although the site is already working, please, keep in mind that the ABDB project is still in its prototype phase, and users might therefore experience application bugs, data problems etc.
